Fun, physical activity in an open air environment! This limited enrollment workshop will train students in circus skills while maintaining comprehensive safety.
The workshop will introduce multiple circus disciplines and work to the level of the individual. Students will experience the thrills of tumbling, aerial arts and balancing arts all in a safe and encouraging environment. With tutelage from professional acrobats in the colorful big top tent, kids learn and laugh while trying new skills. Activities such as trapeze, silks, Chinese Pole, illusion, juggling and acrobatics will be presented with expert guidance. General conditioning and stretching techniques will be emphasized to promote healthy exercise habits. Students will create an end of workshop recital that is open to the public to show off their circus repertoire. Novice level all the way to advanced levels are all welcome.
Maximum registration: 24 students per session. Students are broken into smaller rotation groups of no more than 7 students per group based on age. Teacher to student ratio is 1:6 maximum. Students are supervised as all times during the workshop by multiple, highly qualified coaches.
This activity is not suitable for students with audio or tactile sensitivities.

General Information:
Participants should wear comfortable clothing for gymnastic movement. Hair should be tied back and shirts should be snug or tucked in (we go upside down a lot!). Please bring a snack and bottled water. Clothing layers are advised for hotter or cooler conditions.
Student to teacher ratio is a maximum of 6:1. Students are supervised at all times.
RECITALS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. FAMILIES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND. PLEASE ARRIVE A FEW MINUTES BEFORE RECITAL TIME TO BE SEATED. SEATING IS BY TABLE RESERVATION OR AVAILABILITY OF TABLES ON ARRIVAL. ALL TABLES SEAT UP TO 4 PERSONS. LIGHT SNACKS, BEER AND WINE ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE RECITAL OR BY PRE-ORDER FOR RESERVED TICKET HOLDERS.
